Travels for Beer Bruges, Belgium 2008

Bruges is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium. It is located in the northwest of the country. It’s a “pretty” little city with a winding river, many arched bridges, cobblestone streets, and a towering belfry. It’s quiet, clean, and has plenty of good beer bars and food.

We purchased a special edition Rochefort and two goblets. The manager said to cellar the beer and never drink it! I promised him I would wait till the day before I die.

This sight of empty crates got me excited! Next door was a terrific beer store named B2B
